Dived into the ground at 1438 near Straiton le Vale, 5 miles NE of Market Rasen, Lincolnshire. Sgt Bragg was cremated at Stockport Crematorium while the others rest in various United Kingdom cemeteries. P/O Arthur Alan Hewson Lindley, brother of P/O Lindley, died on 1 August 1942 while flying with 107 Squadron on operations to Vlissingen.

P/O KRH Lindley, aged 20, was the pilot of the aircraft. He
was the son of Maj Arthur Lindley and Winifred Kate Lindley, of
Ashtead, Surrey. Arthur Lindley married Winifred K Hewson in
Sheffield during 1917. Arthur Alan H Lindley's birth registered
Sheffield 6/1920 9c 1302 & Keith R H Lindley's birth
registered Sheffield 6/1924 9c 1154. His brother P/O Alan Lindley is
also named on the Ashtead War Memorial.
